Tradition, knowledge and quality

Inga Nordin founded Järven Plast & Smide AB 1976 after years of research and development of waterbeds with the purpose of preventing bed soars. The research was made together with the plastic surgery department of Umeå University, Sweden. Along with her, Inga brought her knowledge about noise isolation, as she earlier acquired as a partner in the family business M. Andersson Isolering AB. The result of this is that Järven Plast & Smide AB’s patented products have become world leading in each segment.

Järven Plast & Smide AB – Järven AB

Starting 2003-09-29 Järven Plast & Smide AB is refining their product segments into business areas. Järven AB is our new common marketing name, where we will “profile” our expanding business areas more distinctively.
Järven AB has its main office in Örnsköldsvik with representation around the globe.

Järven Health Care

The products of Järven Health Care are built on a combination of our 30-year experience from the demands of the Health Care and the latest in research and development. Our ambition is to offer best possible bed comfort for patients throughout their hospital stay in combination with the best possible hygiene, quality and safety. This has resulted in us being able to offer the best possible total economy and the most comfortable health care bed for the patient.
Järven Health Care is on of Scandinavia’s largest manufacturer of mattresses to the health care.

Järven Akustik

Järven acoustic covers all areas within noise reduction, with a knowledge and tradition that goes back over 40 years. The unique knowledge that the company has gathered within acoustic throughout the years has been thanks to continuous research and product development. Our concept is based on that no matter what needs the customer have of noise reducing products, we can offer them efficient and flexible solutions.

Järven Water purification

Järven Water purification plan and get water purification constructions ready for collection of day-, urban- and wastewater. The technology is based on Järvens float wall system.

Järven – SEDAB (Safety Equipment Development AB)

Järven’s subsidiary company SEDAB has developed world leading mobile sanitation systems for sanitation of people and equipment that has been exposed to hazardous biological and chemical substances. A modern country must be equipped with a risk management and disaster-system to guarantee that the society can handle various types of situations that comprises terrorist attacks, chemical or biological warfare or accidents where people has been exposed to hazardous substances.
