Air0 is one of our most advanced foam mattresses, developed with a focus on high patient comfort and documented pressure relief. The mattress has a laminated LENTEX hygiene cover that facilitates infection control and offers pressure-relieving properties verified through independent tests. Air0 is dimensioned to provide reliable support even for users with a body weight of up to 300 kg.
Air0 is constructed with a core of six carefully selected foam types that work together to allow for good immersion and envelopment. The construction provides extra low pressure on protruding body parts, such as heels and shoulders, meaning the mattress does not require a separate heel zone.
The unique LENTEX surface layer is laminated directly onto the foam core without zips or seams. This minimizes the risk of fluid ingress into the core and facilitates the detection of contamination thanks to the light and semi-transparent surface layer. The mattress is also tested and approved for use in automated bed and mattress washing systems.
STANDARD FOR OBJECTIVE EVALUATION
To obtain an objective assessment of the pressure-relieving properties of mattresses, RISE[1] developed a measurement method where the actual counter-pressure exerted by a mattress is measured using indenters. The measurement method is described in Swedish standard SS 876 00 13.
Lentex Air0 has been tested by RISE[1] according to measurement method SS 876 00 13 and is pressure-relieving up to and including Pressure ulcer category 3.

The mattress is specially developed for children and juniors with a user weight between 1 and 40 kg. It is constructed from a homogeneous cold foam (35 kg/m³) which provides good comfort and stable support.
The mattress is tested by RISE according to Swedish standard (SS 876 00 13) and has documented low pressure values for effective pressure distribution. Thanks to the LENTEX surface layer, which is completely free from seams and zips, it is well suited for children with dust and mite allergies, as well as for bedwetting problems or incontinence.
The mattress core and the pliable surface layer work together to reduce pressure on the body through immersion and envelopment. These are the two central biomechanical properties which, according to clinical studies [1], are required to provide effective pressure distribution and reduce the risk of pressure sores.
