The Järven Rescue Mattress is a dedicated evacuation solution designed to move a person in the event of a fire or other hazardous situations. The mattress can be handled by a single person to move the patient to an ambulance or an exit.
The rescue mattress is designed for environments where rescue sheets cannot be used, such as in public premises including stadiums, shopping centres and shopping arcades. The mattress has been fire-tested in accordance with SS 876 00 01 and is stored ready for immediate use in the event of an emergency.
To promote an ergonomic working posture and reduce the risk of work-related injuries, the Rescue Mattress is fitted with integrated pull handles. This design enables staff to work with a straighter back whilst moving the patient.
The straps are fitted with Velcro to secure the patient during transport. The rescue mattress glides easily over various types of flooring, making it easier to move the patient regardless of the surface. The mattress is designed to be used in corridors, on stairs and in narrow passages.
