Exclusive is a durable hygiene mattress featuring the unique LENTEX surface layer. The mattress has been specifically developed to serve as an effective aid in both the prevention of pressure ulcers and the treatment of ulcers up to and including category 2. With its well-designed three-layer construction, it offers a combination of firm support and proven pressure relief.
Exclusive has been designed to provide effective support for healthcare staff in their work to prevent and treat pressure ulcers up to stage 2. Its three-layer construction, featuring a pressure-relieving polyether core and an outer layer of super-soft cold foam, creates ideal conditions for immersion and envelopment. This provides a documented low contact pressure for protruding body parts, which facilitates pressure relief without the need for a separate heel zone.
To support daily hygiene routines, the mattress is fitted with the seamless LENTEX hygiene cover. The semi-transparent, light-coloured surface is designed to make it easier for staff to carry out visual checks and quickly detect any contamination on the surface or inside the core.
STANDARD FOR OBJECTIVE EVALUATION
To obtain an objective assessment of the pressure-relieving properties of mattresses, RISE[1] developed a measurement method where the actual counter-pressure exerted by a mattress is measured using indenters. The measurement method is described in Swedish standard SS 876 00 13.
Lentex Exclusive has been tested by RISE[1] according to measurement method SS 876 00 13 and is pressure-relieving up to and including wound category 2.

Lentex Exclusive is a medical device that is most effective when used as part of a well-planned care plan. The mattress’s pressure-distributing properties complement the staff’s expertise in repositioning, mobilisation and skin inspection.
The mattress has undergone fatigue testing (SS 876 00 11) to ensure that it retains its function and support even when the bed’s backrest is raised. This makes it easier for staff to position the patient securely and safely during meals or when resting in a sitting position.
Thanks to the three-layer foam construction and the flexible LENTEX laminate, a proven low pressure is achieved even on the body’s most prominent areas, such as the heels and shoulders. This provides sufficient pressure relief across the entire surface without the need for local adjustments.
