The OptiCell SMART series is designed to provide safe and effective care, where every detail contributes to an improved patient experience and a pressure-relieving surface. This design philosophy is reflected in the choice of materials and components, as well as in how we have designed the systems, with the aim that our air mattresses should not be seen or heard, but "just" provide comfortable and pressure-relieving rest. When that happens, we have succeeded. Our air mattresses are developed to maintain consistent counter-pressure, regardless of patient weight up to 250 kg. The pump's sensors automatically adapt the pressure dynamically to contribute to stable and even pressure relief even with changes in weight or different positions.

IMMERSION The system automatically adapts to the patient, maintaining low interface pressure regardless of patient weight. This redistributes pressure across a large surface area, reducing the load on vulnerable anatomical zones and enabling immersion to an individualised depth.

ENVELOPMENT OptiCell Tenders" construction adapts to the body's contours, "enveloping" the patient with soft and even support to even out pressure peaks, thereby contributing to calm and stable comfort.

Providing care and showing compassion requires both time and a focus on the patient. Therefore, OptiCell SMART has been designed with a focus on functions that simplify everyday life and contribute to a better working environment. Our systems are developed to be discreet, yet effective, aids.

The pump used for all models in the SMART series has been developed to be a safe and easy-to-use aid in pressure-relieving care. We want to shift the focus from a complicated pump to pressure ulcer care and nursing. By involving healthcare professionals in the design of the pump's panel, we feel that our pump is both intuitive and simple to use.

The system automatically regulates the pressure in the mattress's air cells to provide stable support and continuous pressure relief. Six different comfort modes make it possible to adjust the system's target level of support and comfort, so that the mattress can be adapted to individual needs, regardless of the patient's weight and position. The system provides the same low counter pressure regardless of user weights up to 350 kg.

Enables total pressure relief with Multi-Zone Relief
Offer the most vulnerable patients complete pressure relief by simply releasing the cells and thereby completely eliminating counter-pressure on exposed areas. When air pressure must be completely eliminated for vulnerable body parts, the cells can be released with a simple manoeuvre, without the need for tools or staff muscle power.
